As we enter the fall season, with PSLs, and Halloween decor on the store shelves, many people are wondering, what will we do for Halloween this year? Well, we’ve got the perfect event to start off this spooky season. And the best part is, it’s local and FREE!
Every year, Freeform hosts 31 Nights of Halloween. This was a Halloween-themed movie night every day of October. This year, in order to provide a safe and socially distant event, they created a drive-thru event called Halloween Road.
Halloween Road will be taking place early in October, starting from October 2nd and ending on October 4th. The drive-thru path will feature scenes from famous Halloween movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ghostbusters, and Hocus Pocus. Additionally, there will be live performances, games, prizes, interactive experiences, and of course, photo-ops for the Gram!
This spooktacular event will be held at our local NELA gem, the Heritage Square Museum, which is actually currently open on the weekends for self guided tours.
Even though the event is free, you will need to RSVP in order to attend. Tickets will be available on Saturday, September 12th at 10 a.m. To RSVP or for more information, please visit the event’s website.
