Because millions of visitors have flocked to 7-11 on 7/11 for that free Slurpee we all love for the passed 18 years, the famous convenience store has announced that they will not have their in-store celebration this year.
Because COVID-19 pandemic is still very much among us, 7-11 did not feel that is was right to gather such patronage, though, they are still celebrating with free Slurpees. For safer measures, and to set in the practice of social distancing, 7Rewards loyalty program members will get one free Slurpee of medium size in July.
To get your free Slurpee, sign up for 7Rewards or download the app at www.7-eleven.com/7rewards, and receive a coupon for your free Slurpee, along with other promotions, like a whole pizza for only $5.
But this is not all 7-11 is doing to not only celebrate their birthday, but also give back to their communities. They will also be donating one million meals to Feeding America. They state in a press release that these communities, “… have been the lifeline of our business since 1927.”
