On your, marks, get set, GO!
We had a team day last week at the office and held our own little Pinewood Derby race in the parking lot with our Little Beast van. Not only was our entire team in attendance, but we even had a few friends ready to race too. It was clear to see that the Town Square team was taking the situation seriously, with trophies and more importantly, bragging rights, at stake, everyone was playing to win.
And these weren’t slapped together derby cars either. The effort, time, and creativity that went into each of the cars in attendance was stunning. From stickers to lego pieces, to tiny umbrellas, it was going to be an interesting race to say the least. Some of the cars were even shaved and weighted.
We set up a little ramp in our parking lot and held a tournament of races for the fastest car. We also had prizes for the funniest car and the best craftsmanship. Some of us are already setting their sights on next year’s Pinewood Derby Race!
