If you have every attended one of the 2nd saturday art walks in North East Los Angeles you already have an idea of the creativity that exists in this neighborhood.
This Sunday is the 21st annual Arroyo Arts Collective Discovery Tour. The once yearly NELA studio tour takes the art walk experience to the next level. Not only do you have the opportunity to see the art of a wide array of artists, you get access to their studios to see where they work and the opportunity to explore Mt Washington, Highland Park, Monictio Heights and Eagle Rock.
The self guided tour features more then 100 artists in homes and studios.
The tour starts at the Lummis House on Ave 43 (a neighborhood gem in itself) where you can pick up a map and choose your own adventure. Either hop on a bus to take you to the locations participating in this event or drive your own car to check out the studios most of interest to you.
As a NELA home owner and local real estate agent this event it is a great opportunity to get out in the neighborhood and see the creative side of local residents.
