Us just premiered on March 22nd and it’s already another success for actor, comedian, and director, Jordan Peele. People rushed to theaters everywhere during the film’s opening weekend, earning the film a $70 million in the box office. And, our local theater at the Americana in Glendale, had a VERY special screening this Sunday night.
None other than Kid Cudi, rented out the entire theater and invited his Twitter followers in the area to watch Us with him.

Kid Cudi sent out the very-public invite about 45 minutes before the window of time to show up with merch started, and was met at the theater by a huge mob of fans waiting to watch the film with him. He later went back to Twitter to share footage from the screening with his fans, along with positive thoughts on the movie.
Peele’s second movie was quite anticipated, following the success of Get Out, but even if you weren’t planning on watching this film, watching a movie with Kid Cudi is an opportunity you simply cannot pass up.
