An update on our Little Beast Van, through the years.

For those of you who may not know what or who is our Little Beast Van, then here’s a little intro. Our Little Beast is a classic 1952 International Harvester Metro Van. This classic car brings a great deal of character and personality to our agency. It is the rolling symbol of our company that represents our independence, impact and style.

Although lately, it has been taking quite a long vacation parked at Town Square Real Estate, it is time to bring it back into our daily activities and will be making its debut at the Pasadena Police Car Show Saturday October 16, 2021.

To reflect back on some of the accomplishments our classic van has made, we highlight our proudest moments starting with the Little Beast Van making it to the big screen. That’s right our very own Little Beast was casted in a movie starring Anthony Mackie, also known for his leading role as Marvels’ Falcon character, alongside one of the hardest working actors in Hollywood, Samuel L. Jackson

The movie debuted in 2020 called “The Banker”, a film that takes place in the 1960s where two African-American entrepreneurs hire a working-class white man to pretend to be the head of their business empire while they pose as a janitor and chauffeur.

Car Cruises

Our metro van is known to make an appearance at some of the local car cruises around town, and our four-wheel walk-in cab loves a little bit of spotlight. It was featured at the Colorado street bridge celebration in 2020 which ran for 5 days, with each day having a different program.

Some of the bands included Acoustic Set by Brian Aubert and Nikki Monninger of Silversun Pickups, Bebo and the Goodtime Boys and the LA Hootenanny. Some of the DJs included Luis Vasquez (The Soft Moon), and Scarlett Casanova (Hang the DJs).

The summer of 2019 was very fun and active for our classic metro van, the last car cruise attended was the Ministry Classic Car Show, which took place at the Altadena Seventh Day Adventist Church in 2019.

The proceeds of this fun-filled event benefited the Men’s Ministry and Community Outreach, led by Billy Keets.

What the future holds for our Little Beast

We are hoping to loosen up the brakes and bring it out more often, re-introduce it as a part of our family and rolling icon that delivers our values everywhere it goes. We hope that you get to see it at a local car event or stroll through the neighborhood of old-town Pasadena.

If you do run into our Little Beast, make sure to snap a pic or simply stop and say hello!
