Our very own Little Beast boasts a very interesting history. The “Little Beast” more formerly known as a International Harvester Step Up Van was produced for the working people of the 1950’s! This vehicle type was one of the earlier, mass-producedA�forward controlA�vehicles, once commonly used for milk or bakery delivery, as well as ambulance services, mobile offices, and radio transmitter vans.
The International Metro Van was produced in the US and sold internationally. One of the first models sold was to the Czechoslovakian Army, later destroyed by the Germans in WW2.
In the 1950a��s three models were introduced; Metro lite, Metro multi stop and a Metro Mite that was based on the Scout utility vehicle drive train. The Liitle Beast falls under the Metro Lite category.
