From October 1 to October 31st, enjoy a pumpkin-filled extravaganza during Halloween at Descanso. This is a family-friendly event, and kids 14 and under are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. From October 17th through the 31st, kids will receive a small treat bag.
This socially distant and safe event will include a pumpkin house and hay maze in the Main Lawn, a pumpkin arch and scarecrows at the Camellia Forest, pumpkin mandalas in the Oak Grove, and pathways to select gardens will be lined with jack-o-lanterns.
On your way through the event, don’t forget to stop by The Kitchen at Descanso, where you’ll find the perfect autumn bites and treats like caramel corn and churros.
Descanso Gardens reopened their doors with new guidelines to safely operate during the Covid-19 pandemic. All ticketing is contactless, as you must buy all tickets online prior to visiting, and all guests are required to socially distance and wear masks at all times, making Halloween at Descanso the perfect outdoor Halloween activity.
For all non-members, tickets must be purchased in advance. Members are welcomed anytime and do not need a ticket. Tickets go on sale on Monday, September 28th at 10 AM. The dates and times of the event are as follows: October 1–25: 9am to 5pm, October 26–30: 9am to 8pm, and October 31 (Halloween): 9am to 5pm and 5pm to 8pm is open for members only at the Family Plus level and above.
