Town Square is sponsoring the Special Twilight Screening for all PFAR Realtors of GO PUBLIC, a feature documentary about the Pasadena Unified School District. “This scrappy documentary celebrates public schools without ignoring its problems. It is an antidote to misleading films like “Waiting for Superman” and “Won’t Back Down.” ~ The Washington Post. The showing will be held Thursday May 28th at 5:30pm at the Laemmle Playhouse 7 Theater on 673 E. Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena.
The showing will be followed by a brief Q&A with filmmakers, Jim and Dawn O’Keeffe, new PUSD school board member, Patrick Cahalan and PUSD parent and teammate, Mayra Villa-Kowal. The event entry is $10. We look forward to seeing you there!
