It has been very busy for our team this past month. In weekly meetings leading up to this joyous season, it was a priority to find ways to help and give back to our beloved communities.
The “Take 5 to Care” food drive was an idea brought to us by our agent, Ariana Javaheri. She said that one morning she was watching KTLA 5 and heard them saying they’d be at our local Stater Bros. collecting cans for the LA Food Bank. The whole team was on board for the opportunity, so we collected some non-perishables and cruised on down with “The Litte Beast” (AKA Santa’s Sleigh), and our agent Ann and her husband’s sweet dragster.
The energy there was amazing. They received every donation with clapping, excitement, and cow bells! As a plus, every donor received a wonderful KTLA 5 coffee mug!
Seperately, in a partnership with the Union Station Homeless Services here in Pasadena, we proudly hosted our own Holiday Toy Drive! The event was ongoing from November 19th, and culminated this past Saturday, December 15th, with an End-of-Event party. We all enjoyed delicious pan dulce, hot chocolate, coffee, and egg nog, all very fitting for the occasion.
On Monday, we , once more, cruised down with “The Litte Beast” and delivered the collection of toys and presents to USHS. Their staff was there to graciously greet us, and they even gave us a tour of their lovely office and on-site housing facility, which is very detailed and organized in providing assistance with any necessity an individual might need.
Needless to say, each event we participated in definitely brought joy into our office, after all, the gift is in the giving!
