Enjoy 20 of Pasadena’s most famous art and culture institutions, all for FREE, this Friday March 13th, for the semi-annual Pasadena ArtNight!
Starting at 6 PM, you’ll be able to embrace Pasadena’s rich art culture, music, and entertainment, by attending any one of the 20 participating locations, and from there, free shuttles will deliver you to your next location, following a route intended to circle you back to your starting point. They don’t want you to miss a thing!
Amidst concerns on how the city is preparing for concerns residents and the public might have regarding the Coronavirus at this event after Pasadena’s health officers recently declared a Local Public Health Emergency, Pasadena Now states everything will march forward as planned, but will be providing hand sanitizer to everyone including guests and the staff, and will be making sure staff will be sanitizing areas of gathering often, along with making sure to replenish soap and paper towel in the bathrooms. If you are sick, they are encouraging you to stay home, and also warn older adults and people with underlying medical conditions, who are at high risks, to stay away from large crowds. ArtNight Pasadena’s two yearly event happen in March and October, and attendance has reached up to 28,000.
This celebration of art and culture is a partnership between several cultural institutions and the Cultural Affairs Division of the City of Pasadena. Sponsored by the Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission, it also has support from the Pasadena Department of Transportation Transit Division, Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority; and Pasadena Center Operating Company .
