It is that time of year again, the holidays are over and summer is coming fast. You know what that means? Spring cleaning! This will be team members Leslie Cross and Emilie Broughton’s second year sponsoring the Altadena neighborhood yard sale. The yard sale will be held this year on March 21st, 2015 from 9am-2pm. We all know that yard houses can be a lot of work but what better way than to do it while having fun with your neighbors? Leslie and Emilie will provide everything you need for the yard sale to be a success. All you need to do is RSVP by February 15th to either Emilie or Leslie. They will take care of all of the publicity for your house through craigslist ads, posts in Pasadena Now and locale garage sale listings. The day of the yard sale they will provide you with the proper signage for your property. In addition, each home participating will receive a goody bag the day before and maps of the other houses participating in the area for their guests and coffee that can be shared with everyone. Leslie will also be using her house in Altadena as a home base for everyone, details to come. One of the other great things about this yard sale is that anything that is not sold that day can be picked up for free and donated to our partners Habitat for Humanity.
