We recently attended and sponsored the PFAR Charitable Foundations wine event. Today we are excited to announce the PFAR Charitable Foundation raised nearly $20,000 at this year’s wine tasting event, “Under the Tuscan Sun,” in Pasadena this last month. Located behind the Shopping District on Lake Avenue, the courtyard of The Commons served as the setting for the events guests who enjoyed wine, food paring from Seco New American and Smitty’s Grill, auctions and live entertainment. The proceeds from the event will go to local charities and scholarships for public school students heading to college. Wine Tasting Committee members this year included: Co-Chairs Chelby Crawford and Shelley Wingate and Kal Antoun, Marisa Azra, Greg Boyer, Holly Cornet, Hope de la Rosa, Roberta Dominguez, Gene Huang, Rich Jones, Celeste Licea, Michelle McConville, Meg Murphy, Armond Ohan, Jessica Soo, Alison Voors, Trenton Steindorf and our very own Emilie Broughton. Congratulations and thank you to this year’s Wine Tasting Committee for putting together another great event! Team mates Ariana Javaheri, Leslie Cross, Sarah Javaheri, Mayra Villa and Torrey Felber had a great time.
